For Events in 2019:
Your age for the entire calendar year of 2019 is determined by how old you are on or before December 31, 2018. Let’s break it back down by birth year for you. Find your birth year and identify it with the corresponding age division you are eligible for:
- U-10 | 2009-2010
- U-12 | 2007-2008
- U-14 | 2005-2006
- U-16 | 2003-2004
- U-19 |2000-2002
All athletes may play up one age division at USA Field Hockey National Events and Sanctioned Events. If a qualifier event for 2019 takes place in 2018 you must play in the age division that corresponds with your age on or before December 31, 2018.

Your age for the entire calendar year of 2020 is determined by how old you are on or before December 31, 2019. Let’s break it down by birth year for you. Find your birth year and identify it with the corresponding age division you are eligible for.
- U-10 | 2010-2011
- U-12 | 2008-2009
- U-14 | 2006-2007
- U-16 | 2004-2005
- U-19 |2001-2003
