No, if your affiliation is staying the same, you do not need to do anything.
Yes, new members will be able to affiliate with a club once they purchase a membership.

These policies apply to all USA Field Hockey Tournaments unless specifically noted otherwise.

Clubs may have guest players participate in select tournaments as defined in each tournament’s rostering rules

Guest players are not permitted for the Regional Club Championships and/or National Club Championship.

Log into your account, click on “Change My Club Affiliation”, select the state in which you play, find your club and click submit. A confirmation window will appear.

From October 2 to July 31 individuals may only change club affiliation by submitting a completed Club Affiliation Transfer Request online through a USA Field Hockey Membership Account. An individual is only permitted to switch clubs one time between these dates. The request requires acceptance by USA Field Hockey in partnership with the current club, and the proposed new club. USA Field Hockey holds the right to make exceptions based on extenuating circumstances.

No, you can train and practice with any club. Affiliation has nothing to do with your Participant Accident Policy with Integro Insurance.
The transfer process should be used when you have an extenuating circumstance that hindered you from affiliating with the club during the open enrollment period.
Yes, both clubs need to approve the transfer online.
If your club will not release your affiliation, please reach out to membership@usafieldhockey.com to begin the appeals process. Your appeal will be reviewed and a final decision will be determined by the USA Field Hockey Executive Director.
An athlete not affiliated with your club or any club counts as a guest player.
When there was an extenuating circumstance that hindered the affiliated athlete from affiliating with the club during the open enrollment period.
You do not have to approve the request if for a valid reason.
