OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Support the U.S. Men’s National Indoor Team and learn from some of the best indoor athletes at the 2022 Indoor USMNT Clinic. Team USA athletes, who are also some top players in Europe, are hosting a two-session clinic to raise funds for the 2023 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup taking place in February.
"This clinic is aimed as a fundraiser for our 2023 Indoor World Cup campaign”, said Jason Mulder, Indoor USMNT Head Coach. “Participants will be coached by some of the top indoor athletes from the United States and Europe. We will be teaching some of the latest indoor technical skills and tactics at this clinic. Goalkeepers will also be catered for as there will be a goalkeeper specific attention at each session before progressing into game specific exercises. We look forward to helping you prepare for the National Indoor Tournament and your indoor season."
The Indoor USMNT Clinic sessions will take place on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 and Wednesday, December 28, 2022, both at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Md. from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. The cost is $175 per athlete per session or $250 for both sessions, and boys and girls ages 12 to 19 are welcome to attend.
The maximum number of registrants accepted at each session is 80. Attendees are asked to wear only sneakers or trainers on the courts, cleats are not allowed.
The coaches of the Indoor USMNT Clinic includes Pat Harris (Moorpark, Calif.), Indoor USMNT Captain; Mulder, Indoor USMNT Head Coach and Nigel Traverso (Baldwin, N.Y.), USMNT Manager and former coach of the men’s indoor program.
The deadline to register for the clinic is Tuesday, December 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
