Read, Watch & Listen
Whether you are a participating USA Field Hockey athlete, parent, coach or umpire, find educational lectures, articles and videos about field hockey and sports in general under “Read, Watch & Listen”. Members can find new topics and material each week that is recommended by USA Field Hockey’s Coach Education and Learning Department that is aimed at a specific Membership Type.
As a USA Field Hockey Member, you can also find past editions of FHLife Magazine, USA Field Hockey’s “In the Circle” podcast and archives from previous field hockey lectures with a wide array of topics. Check them out today!

Coach
Trained and certified coaches are essential to the growth of the game, so USA Field Hockey has made it easier than ever to find additional tools and educational material for coaches to explore on their own time. Under this section, Coach Members can access the USA Field Hockey American Development Model (ADM) resources, online courses, watch archive footage from U.S. National Teams and other training sessions from experts around the game.

Did you know student-athletes whose parents are actively engaged in their sport and activities are more likely to succeed on and off the field? The Parents section provides educational content from nutrition to high school resources from the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and mental health tips from partner, BelievePerform.
Umpire
Officiating is a crucial part of keeping field hockey safe and fun for all. Whether you are a veteran umpire or looking to pick up a whistle for the first time, the Umpire section offers important information from all levels of the game, including the International Hockey Federation (FIH).
