Q Tips: Coping with Quarantine Life - Dr. Kevin Chapman on Modeling Anxiety

The ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has dramatically altered the daily lives and routines of people across the country, and student-athletes, parents and coaches are no exception. To help cope with the uncertainty and challenges associated with COVID-19 and quarantine statuses near you, USA Field Hockey partner, TrueSport, has launched #QTips – a content and video series to help support everyone through the uncertainty.

 

The following video is from TrueSport expert Dr. Kevin Chapman, who explains how important it is for parents to model a calm demeanor and demonstrate positive self-care strategies for their children to reduce anxiety around uncertainty.
