2020 Regional Club Championship Details Announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – February 13, 2020 – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the hosts and registration details for the 2020 Regional Club Championships (RCC), presented by Harrow Sports. The RCC are qualifying tournaments for USA Field Hockey Member Clubs in which club teams compete for the opportunity to represent their region at the National Club Championship, presented by Harrow Sports, taking place from July 7 to 15, 2020 in Virginia Beach, Va. All RCC events take place between March and June throughout the country. RCC hosts were selected based on host applications, with an effort made to provide an optimal tournament experience for member clubs. Thank you to all who applied to host RCC events in 2020!

RCC registration will open Thursday, March 5, 2020 and close Thursday, March 19, 2020. Space is limited, host limitations such as number of fields and number of teams per pool will be taken into consideration for each RCC site. USA Field Hockey’s goal is to accept as many teams as possible while making sure the integrity of the competition is upheld. Club teams will be accepted based first on their Regional Club Ranking, then by the date of registration. Teams will be notified by USA Field Hockey's Events Department by Thursday, March 26, 2020, providing at least four weeks for teams to make travel arrangements. Late registrations will be accepted only if spots are available. In the event the RCC is filled, teams will be placed on the event waitlist.

Teams may register for their respective RCC through their USA Field Hockey Club Member account. Roster deadlines, rules and pool selection details, and National Club Championship (NCC) information for all age divisions will be available soon on usafieldhockey.com.

The National Club Championship, presented by Harrow Sports will be held July 7 to 15, 2020 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. in July. The U-19 Girls division will take place July 7 to 9, U-16 Girls division will take place July 10 to 12 and the U-14 Girls division will take place July 13 to 15.
