USA Field Hockey’s Level 2 Instructional Coaching Clinic is an 8-hour offering and will be held at the University of Connecticut on Saturday, June 1 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ET and Sunday, June 2, from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET. This course will expand on several of the topics covered in the Level 1 clinic and will challenge participants to further define and evaluate their individual coaching philosophies, styles, techniques and encourage self-assessment. Additionally, coaches will work in groups to share best practices and receive peer feedback in a comfortable and encouraging environment.

Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and space is limited.

Level 2 Instructional Coaching Clinic attendees will receive a Level 2 Certificate of Participation and, with USA Field Hockey Membership, will be eligible to coach in USA Field Hockey programs including the opportunity to become a head coach in the Futures Program and AAU Junior Olympic Games (application process). Participants will also be able to advance further as we continue to expand offerings within USA Field Hockey’s Coach Education Program.

Instructor for this Level 2 Instructional Coaching Clinic:

Caddy is a trained USA Field Hockey Coach Educator and a High Performance Coach. Recently, he’s participated in both the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Level 2 course and the USA Field Hockey Coach Educator Training in 2017 and 2018. He is currently the associate head coach for the University of Connecticut whose primary focuses are defense and player and team development.
