COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - May 9, 2019 - USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce and congratulate the first round of athletes selected to participate in the 2019 National Futures Championship (NFC), presented by Harrow Sports, at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa. from June 20-28. The NFC is the premier championship event for USA Field Hockey's Futures Program, the sport's Olympic Development Pipeline. Held annually since 1990, the NFC brings the top female field hockey players selected from more than 4,700 athletes across nine regions.

USA Field Hockey would like to congratulate all of the participating athletes, and especially the following female athletes who have been selected to represent their region at the 2019 National Futures Championship based on their outstanding performance at their respective Regional Futures Tournaments, presented by Harrow Sports. Selected athletes will be evaluated again at the NFC for an opportunity to make the Junior U.S. Women's National Teams. Click the links below to review the selected athletes in each region.

Selected athletes have been notified by email with additional information. The U-16 and U-19 Girls division athletes will be placed on Regional Teams and required to attend a weekend-long training camp in preparation for the National Futures Championship. This training camp is a great opportunity for these athletes to advance their individual and team skills before competing as a regional team at the NFC. The U-14 Girls division selected athletes will be placed on mixed teams at the National Futures Championship. Team announcements will be posted in early June on the NFC Event Page.
