FH Life Club Owner and Director Speaking on USA Field Hockey Summit Panel

BALTIMORE - March 13, 2019 - USA Field Hockey is pleased to welcome Field Hockey Life Club Owner and Director Keli Smith Puzo, who will be a panel speaker on the "Growing Field Hockey in America" session at the 2019 USA Field Hockey Summit, presented by AstroTurf.  Summit will be held March 15-17 at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore and will welcome administrators, coaches, umpires and sponsors for a weekend of education, networking, collaboration and fun.

Smith Puzo is a veteran of international hockey as a two-time Olympian (2008, 2012) and former member of the U.S. Women’s National Team for ten years, having played in almost 200 international matches. While representing her country as an athlete, Smith Puzo accumulated more than five years of coaching experience at the Division I level. She worked with a variety of programs including Miami University (Ohio), University of Virginia, American University and Georgetown University. Smith Puzo took a break in 2009 from Team USA to play professionally in Spain and again in 2010 and 2011 to give birth to her two children. She played collegiately at the University of Maryland, where she was an NCAA Division I National Champion (1999) and three-time All-American.

She continues to support USA Field Hockey’s quest to provide better and improved tools and resources for all coaches from the grassroots level up to high performance, all while building her club of more than 300 youth athletes.

In 2018, Smith Puzo was inducted into the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame.
