COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – January 11, 2019 – Following an extensive review process, USA Field Hockey’s Board of Directors and Communications Department have announced that FHLife Magazine, the official publication of USA Field Hockey, will be transitioning to a primarily digitally-published publication later in the 2019 calendar year in an effort to continue to be environmentally responsible, as well as better use resources to inspire, educate and motivate its 30,000+ membership. As the only magazine in the United States dedicated to the sport, FHLife Magazine will still remain in physical form, printing one issue per year, with all editions also being published digitally on

“Ultimately, with multiple rises in paper costs and postage in recent months, this decision will allow for resources to be distributed elsewhere in the organization where we can better continue our mission to Grow the Game, Serve Members and Succeed Internationally, while also continuing a long-standing tradition of distributing our quarterly platform to the USA Field Hockey community,” commented Simon Hoskins, USA Field Hockey's Executive Director.

In addition to each issue being accessible on desktop and mobile devices, this transition will also continue to be a members-only benefit, accessible by the quarterly username and password distributed through the USA Field Hockey Membership email list.
