Club Director Lauren Cornthwaite to Speak on USA Field Hockey Summit Panel

BALTIMORE - February 8, 2019 - USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce Lauren Cornthwaite, club founder and director of Aim Field Hockey, will be a panel speaker for the "Athlete Attraction and Retention" at the 2019 USA Field Hockey Summit, presented by AstroTurf. Summit will be held March 15-17 at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore and will welcome administrators, coaches, umpires and sponsors for a weekend of education, networking, collaboration and fun.

Cornthwaite, founder and director of Aim Field Hockey, has been coaching field hockey at various levels for more than 15 years. From 2001-04, she served as the assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania and then as the head coach at Lindenwood University. Throughout the years, she has coached at numerous camps and events around the country, including the AAU Junior Olympic Games, Duke University, University of New Hampshire, and William & Mary.

Cornthwaite served as the Regional Coaching Director for the USA Field Hockey Futures Program for 3 years. She has is also a USA Field Hockey Level II Accredited coach.

A four-year starter at Dartmouth College, Cornthwaite was selected as a Regional All-American, two-time All-Ivy Team member and a team captain during her time there.
