RICHMOND, Va. - February 7, 2019 - USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the U-19 Boys, U-19 Girls, Men’s and Women’s division schedule for the 2019 Sheetz National Indoor Tournament (NIT), presented by YOLO Sportswear. This tournament will take place February 22-24at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Va.

Teams attending the Richmond NIT., event are guaranteed five games (pools of 6) grouped in pools with like qualification placements. The U-19 Boys and Women’s division are somewhat different, ending one Sunday with crossovers and a championship style format.

This event, partnered with Visit Richmond, is offering an early bird check-in option the evening of the Thursday, February 21, starting at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Capital Ale House (623 E Main St, Richmond, VA 23219). Teams are also invited to use the free NIT Shuttle service provided by Visit Richmond, which will be making stops at TheGreater Richmond Convention Center, Science Museum of Virginia, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Carytown. Adults, Club administrators and umpires are also welcome to attend the “Late Night Happy Hour” social at the Champion Brewery (401 E Grace St, Richmond, VA 23219), starting at 10 p.m. ET. Prizes, raffles, and discount food and drinks will be available.
