Applications Now Open to Host Regional Club Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - November 7, 2018 – Time flies when you’re having fun! Winter indoor season is right around the corner, and it’s already time to start preparing for the 2019 spring outdoor season! With that, USA Field Hockey is now accepting applications to host this year’s U-14, U-16 and U-19 Girls Regional Club Championships (RCC), presented by Harrow Sports, and looking forward to another solid year of outdoor programming. Bids to host the RCC will be accepted through Sunday, December 2 at 11:59 p.m. ET. After the submission deadline, USA Field Hockey will formally review all submitted bids and plan to announce host sites for the 2019 Regional Club Championships by Tuesday, December 11.

During the 2018 season, USA Field Hockey worked with eight different hosts to facilitate three RCC events in the U-14, U-16 and U-19 Girls Age Divisions, totaling 18 tournaments. These events provided an opportunity to qualify for more than 160 teams from clubs across the United States with 48 teams punching their tickets to the National Club Championship, presented by Harrow Sports.
