WC Eagles Claim U-14 National Club Championship Title

LANCASTER, Pa. – July 11, 2017 – Sixteen of the country's top U-14 club teams gathered at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa. for the 2018 U-14 National Club Championship (NCC), presented by Harrow Sports. The three-day event saw great competition and dedicated athletes and coaches work hard to the very end in the summer heat for a chance to call themselves Champions.

 

Competing in the 3rd/4th place game, X-Calibur FHC defeated UPRISE 2-1 to earn bronze medals. In the championship match, WC Eagles claimed gold after defeating Spirit of USA 8-1, marking the sixth year in a row WC Eagles have been champions. Ashley Sessa (WC Eagles) was also named Top Goal Scorer with 27 goals.

 

USA Field Hockey would like to congratulate all of this year's U-14 National Club Championship teams, athletes and coaches who participated! As well as thank the umpires, technical staff, umpire managers and volunteers who continue to make NCC a success.
