USA Field Hockey will be featuring weekly spotlights of U.S. U-21 Women's National Team members selected to represent Team USA at the women's Hockey Junior World Cup 2016 (JWC).
She's an avid Chipotle lover and former member of a elementary school juggling team. She has aspirations to spend time traveling after graduation and hopes to own a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Golden German Shepard when she is older. Meet U.S. U-21 Women's National Team member Lauren Moyer.
Lauren is a native to Pennsylvania and her hometown is about 25 minutes away from Spooky Nook Sports. It's always an added bonus when the team is training there as she gets to go home and spend time with her family and pets. She is a senior at the University of North Carolina and plans to take some time to travel and explore after.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys being with friend in smurf village and trying to tune out of field hockey mode. She binge watches shows when she has time and recently finished Stranger Things and Prisoners.
Growing up, Lauren played soccer and thought she would play that sport in college until she began playing club field hockey and joined the Futures Program her sophomore year of high school.
In her future, Lauren wants to own a Bernese Mountain Dog named Winston and a Golden Germany Shepared named Murphy.
Last but not least, Chipotle is hands down her favorite place to eat and she claims to spend way too much money there.
