#SQUAD Goals: Meet Margaux Paolino

Oct. 21, 2016, 12:51 p.m. (ET)

USA Field Hockey will be featuring weekly spotlights of U.S. U-21 Women's National Team members selected to represent Team USA at the women's Hockey Junior World Cup 2016 (JWC).

She has a twin brother and anywhere she goes she always has her V's up (for Villanova, of course!). She's a lover of Mediterranean food and likes to binge watch Gossip Girl. She claims to be a good dancer and has aspirations of being famous one day. Meet U.S. U-21 Women's National Team member Margaux Paolino.

Margaux is from Villanova, Pa. and with a majority of my family members attending the nearby university, she always has her V's up. Luckily, though, her family found it in their hearts to make an exception for her shade of blue and white, Duke. She loves her family and hanging out with her siblings. She even enjoys spending time with her dog, Cuggles.

In Margaux's free time she enjoys spending time with her friends. They listen to music, binge watch Gossip Girl or 90210, and eat anything and everything. She especially loves Mediterranean food and there is a great place near her house called Nova Grill. It's a personal favorite for her and she would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Growing up, she found a passion for sports. She continued to switch sports every season each year until she finally found the ones she enjoyed the most. She played everything competitively from lacrosse, soccer, track, basketball, swimming, etc. If you asked her in elementary school what sport she would play in college, the 4'5" Margaux would probably have said basketball. After that, she would tell you she wanted to be famous one day and that her name would be Margaux Iverson Jordan Paolino. And to this day she still believes that one day in the future she will be famous.

When Margaux graduates from Duke University she hopes to possibly pursue a career in public relations.
