Nations will gather at the Wildey Hockey Centre located in the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex in Saint Michael, Barbados for the Junior Pan American Championships (JPAC) from April 10 to 18. This junior men's and women's event is a qualifier for the 2023 FIH Hockey Junior World Cup.
About JPAC:
The Junior Pan American Championship is an international junior field hockey competition for men and women organized by the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF).
The tournament started in 1978 for the men and 1988 for the women.
In the men's competition, Argentina has won the competition every year except in 2021 where Chile was named the victors. For the women's, Argentina won seven and Canada and USA won once.
This is a qualifier for the 2023 FIH Junior Hockey World Cups. The top three men's teams and top three women's teams will qualify.
