Updated: November 18, 2020 - As the nation and world face a resurgence of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and hospitalizations, USA Field Hockey has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 National Hockey Festival, presented by CranBarry in both North Carolina and Virginia. The 40th annual Festival was set to take place in two locations, the BB&T Sports Park in Bermuda Run, N.C. and Virginia Beach Sportsplex/Hampton Roads Soccer Complex in Virginia Beach, Va.
USA Field Hockey intends to hold the 40th edition of National Hockey Festival, presented by CranBarry, on Thanksgiving weekend from November 26 to 28, 2020 at the BB&T Sports Park in Bermuda Run, N.C. and Virginia Beach Sportsplex/Hampton Roads Soccer Complex in Virginia Beach, Va. Divisions are planned for the U-12 Co-Ed, U-14 Girls, U-16 Girls, U-19 Girls, U-19 Boys and Adult age groups.
Check-in is one hour before the start of the team's first game.
The National Hockey Festival is a Stay-to-Play event and will be working with Team Travel Source to coordinate housing for all participants. In order to be placed in the tournament, all teams are required to book their lodging through the housing partner, Team Travel Source (TTS). This includes everyone in the travel party: players, coaches, parents, friends, etc.
