Scotland edges Team USA in penalty shoot-out
(March 7, 2013)

The U.S. Women’s Field Hockey Team played to a 1-1 draw in regulation against Scotland. Team USA held on to their early one-goal lead until the 48th minute when Scotland evened the match on a penalty stroke. In the end, Scotland prevailed, 2-0, in a penalty shoot-out.

U.S. Women win second straight against Uruguay

The U.S. Women’s Field Hockey Team overcame hot and humid conditions again today to post their second shutout win at the International Hockey Federation’s World League Round 2 tournament in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Team USA scored once in the first half and twice in the second to secure a 3-0 victory against Uruguay.

Craig Parnham coaches Team USA to 6-0 victory over Brazil

Craig Parnham, making his debut, coached the U.S. Women’s Field Hockey Team to a 6-0 victory over host Brazil on day one of competition of the International Hockey Federation’s World League Round 2 tournament. Emily Wold and Jill Witmer also made their debut with Team USA.
