Each year, USA Field Hockey hires more than 500 dedicated, qualified coaches to help run programming including the Futures Program, AAU Junior Olympic Games, Junior High Performance and more. To be eligible to apply, a minimum of a Level 1 Certification and current USA Field Hockey Coach Membership is required for all positions, and some positions required a Level 2 Certification plus recent coaching experience.

Boys & Girls Club of Redding/Easton | Youth Coach | Redding, Conn.

The Redding Boys and Girls Club is seeking a field hockey coach to manage the youth program for grades 4-8. The coach position will be responsible for planning and coaching weekly 2-3 practices each week throughout the fall season and for overseeing two age group teams during planned games and scrimmages. The coach will provide additional support for grades 1-3 as assigned. 

The coach is responsible for communication to parents, volunteer coaches regarding practice times and game information. The coach will be expected to communicate with administrators for field access, rain delays and competitions.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with elementary and middle school age groups, has advanced hockey playing and or coaching experience and a passion for the sport. 


- 5+ Years field hockey playing/coaching experience

- Availability to work 3-5 days (weekdays and weekends)

Saint Viator Field Hockey Club | Head Coach and Assistant Coach | Wheeling, Ill.


Saint Viator Field Hockey Club, a club sport for Saint Viator High School, is looking for both a head coach and assistant coach. Founded in 2017, the team offers female athletes an opportunity to try a new sport heading in to its third season. Coaching for this team has opened doors for other coaches to also coach lacrosse and even student teach at the school.

The Baldwin School | Assistant Coach | Bryn Mawr, Pa.

The Baldwin School, a Pre-K through 12 all girls’ school in Bryn Mawr, Pa., seeks an Upper School Assistant Field Hockey Coach for the fall season beginning Monday, August 19 and ending Friday, November 15. The Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics (PERA) Department is seeking an individual with experience working within a community of diverse students and colleagues. Successful candidates will be teaching, coaching, administrative, professional skills, leadership and service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics, the department and our community. PERA is currently accepting applications for a part-time, non-benefits eligible, .40 FTE Assistant Coach of Field Hockey. This is a one year, renewable contract.

Field Hockey Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the program; including the planning and execution of successful and challenging practices, coaching during the non-traditional and traditional season, player development, game preparation, recruiting, scouting, fundraising and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

This full-time appointment requires a commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy. The Dean College Athletics Department is a Provisional Division III member of the NCAA and competes as a member of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) and Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC).
