World University Games Wrap Up With Men's Platform, Team Event

The World University Games wrapped up Monday with the U.S. competing in men’s platform and the mixed team event in Naples, Italy.

Lyle Yost (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Ohio State University) led the U.S. with a 13th-place finish in the men’s platform semifinal. He scored 328.95 points, with teammate Jacob Siler (Knoxville, Tenn./Ohio State University) finishing 14th at 323.80.

Siler also paired with Daria Lenz (Altadena, Calif./Stanford University) to place fifth with 328.45 points in the mixed team event.

Earlier in the Games, Lenz won a pair of bronze medals – one individually on 1-meter and one with Carolina Sculti (Rye, N.Y./Stanford University) in synchronized 3-meter. The U.S. also had several individual finalists throughout the Games.
