Olivia Rosendahl became the first diver from Northwestern to win an NCAA title when she won the platform competition Saturday night at the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis.

Rosendahl scored 335.30 points to claim the title, highlighted by an 81.60-point armstand double back somersault with 1 ½ twists. Rosendahl also advanced to Friday’s 3-meter final, in which she finished eighth.

Rosendahl is slated to represent the United States on platform at a FINA Grand Prix meet in Canada next month. She was third on 10-meter at the 2016 USA Diving Winter National Championships and won the event at the 2016 AT&T USA Diving National Championships.

2016 Olympian Jessica Parratto of Indiana was second with 314.45 points while performing a dive list that included a back 3 ½ pike.

Florida International’s Rebecca Quesnel was third at 302.35. Also advancing to the final were Abigail Knapton (Nebraska), Alexis Vincent (Purdue), Calli Head (Iowa), Emily Meaney (Purdue), and Lexi Tenenbaum (Minnesota).

Arizona State’s Mara Aiacoboae won the consolation final with 275.50 points.
