National Best Friends Day: Olympic Edition

Since synchronized events were added to the Olympic program at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Team USA has brought home medals in five events. In London, Kelci Bryant and Abby Johnston took silver in the women's synchronized 3-meter, David Boudia and Nick McCrory won bronze in the men's synchronized 10-meter and Troy Dumais and Kristian Ipsen claimed bronze in the men's synchronized 3-meter event. Four years later in Rio, Boudia won silver with Steele Johnson in the men's synchronized 10-meter and the duo of Sam Dorman and Michael Hixon won silver for the U.S. in the men's synchronized 3-meter.
