China's Guo Jingjing and Wu Minxia won gold with 350.40 points, and Australia's Briony Cole and Sharleen Stratton finished with 303.18 points for silver. Canada's Jennifer Abel and Meaghan Benfeito won the bronze with 291.66 points.
China's He Chong claimed the men's 3-meter gold with 530.55 points, but it was not a clean sweep for the Chinese. Russia's Gleb Galperin and Dmitry Dobroskok won the men's 10-meter synchro title with 445.08 points, finishing just more than two points ahead of the Chinese duo of Lin Yue and Huo Liang. Australia's Melissa Wu scored 399.25 points for the women's platform gold.
The Canada Cup wraps up Sunday, with Arnett and Cabassol in the women's 10-meter synchro event and Justin Wilcock (Smithfield, Utah) and Burkley Showe (Columbus, Ohio) in men's 3-meter synchro. Finals in men's 10-meter and women's 3-meter are also Sunday.
