Downtown Curling Funspiel
Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin | February 9-10, 2019
The Downtown Curling Funspiel is a brand new addition to the quirky and renowned Sturgeon Spectacular (www.fdl.com/ss), a winter festival occurring February 5-10, 2019.
Designed to teach beginners the world of curling, this inaugural Funspiel is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, and will extend into Sunday if necessary. Open to all ages and levels, each match will last one hour and all curling equipment will be provided.
Teams of 4-6 people can sign-up with Pete Wilke via email (email@example.com). Registration for a team is $50. The winning team will receive a Trophy and $250 Cash. 2nd place gets $100 Cash.
Located along the southern shores of Lake Winnebago and all throughout Fond du Lac, Wisconsin’s downtown district, Sturgeon Spectacular is a weeklong celebration of the mammoth lake sturgeon and includes events on the ice, off the ice, indoors and outdoors, from sunrise to well past sunset. Now in its fourth year, Sturgeon Spectacular is a family-friendly festival with more than 50 unique events and plenty to keep travelers of all ages entertained.
