Paralympic coach Tony Colacchio loses battle with cancer

It is with a heavy heart that we are sharing the news that Anthony “Tony” Colacchio passed away this morning. Among many other things he did for curling, Tony was an assistant coach for the USA Curling Paralympic Team for over a decade, and a key recruiter of many of the players on previous and current teams.

Visitation hours will be held on Nov. 29 from 4-7 p.m. at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home in Mashpee. A funeral procession will follow at 11 a.m. Nov. 30 at St. Elizabeth Seton’s in Falmouth, followed by the interment at Cape Cod National Cemetery at Otis Air Force Base.
