USA Curling announces sponsorship with ISS Ice, Sports & Solar Systems

(STEVENS POINT, Wis.) – USA Curling is proud to announce another new sponsorship as the sport continues to grow worldwide.

ISS Ice, Sports and Solar Systems, a leading ice technology company based out of Germany, has been named the official ice technology partner of USA Curling.

“Nowhere else in the world has participation in curling and the development of new clubs and facilities grown as fast and as widely as it has in the United States in the past 15 years,” said Rick Patzke, chief executive officer for USA Curling. “ISS (Ice, Sports & Solar) fills a unique but extremely important niche as an ice technology partner to help further fuel this growth. We are excited to have this partnership with a company delivering the expertise and renowned German engineering that can help ensure the most energy-efficient and professionally-developed facilities.”

A family company, ISS is a pioneer and creator of ice rink, sport and solar absorber systems that offers planning and construction as well as renovation and maintenance worldwide.

“We’re thrilled to finally start the partnership with USA Curling after we already met Rick Patzke and his team at the 2017 World Curling Congress in Slovenia and the annual (USA Curling) Members’ Assembly in St. Paul,” said Said Hakim, chief executive officer of ISS Ice, Sports and Solar Systems. “When we found out that USA Curling is just as enthusiastic about what they do as we are, we knew this would be a perfect match. Since we are already partner of the World Curling Tour, the German Curling federation, Curling Team Baumann as well as World Mixed Doubles Curling Tour sponsor, we know the needs of the curling world very well.”
