Teams announced for new World Cup of Curling events

The new World Cup of Curling is set to kick off next month in China. In each of the four legs, the Curling World Cup will feature eight mixed doubles, eight men’s and eight women’s teams. Here are the U.S. team lineups for the first three events:

World Cup, Leg 1, Sept. 12-16, Suzhou, China: 

  • Mixed doubles: Sarah Anderson, Korey Dropkin
  • Women: Nina Roth, Tabitha Peterson, Aileen Geving, Becca Hamilton
  • Men: Rich Ruohonen, Greg Persinger, Kroy Nernberger, Sean Beighton

World Cup, Leg 2, Dec. 5-9, Omaha, Neb.:

  • Mixed doubles: Tabitha Peterson, Joe Polo
  • Women: Jamie Sinclair, Alex Carlson, Sarah Anderson, Monica Walker, Taylor Anderson
  • Men: John Shuster, Chris Plys, Matt Hamilton, John Landsteiner

World Cup, Leg 3, Jan. 30-Feb. 3, Jonkoping, Sweden:

  • Mixed doubles: Becca Hamilton, Matt Hamilton
  • Women: Cory Christensen, Vicky Persinger, Jenna Martin, Madison Bear
  • Men: Mark Fenner, Tom Howell, Korey Dropkin, Alex Fenson
