High Performance Program update

Dec. 03, 2015, 11:58 a.m. (ET)

Long-time USCA elite athlete Ryan Brunt has resigned from the High Performance Program due to a career change. In submitting his resignation, Brunt said that he has “decided to make a career change and accept a job offer… and can no longer make the commitment that is needed.” The USCA HPP National Team staff is assessing candidates to replace Brunt, who was playing on the men’s Black Team, which is skipped by Pete Fenson.

2010 Olympian Jason Smith, who went through the Athlete Combine over the summer, has been added to the HPP for the remainder of this season and will step in to play lead for Team Fenson.
