NOTE: EVERYONE must create a NEW ACCOUNT on this new website.  The account you had set up previously on the old website will not be recognized.  In addition, each person MUST have their own email address.  You cannot use the same email as someone else who will also be taking Safe Sport.  That is the one way that the website identifies you.  It must be unique to you only.  (If you do not have an email account, it’s quick and free to set one up with Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)

Once you have logged into your USA Boxing account, plus (+) open Member Area, then click on Safe Sport.  At the bottom of the page, click on Register for Safe Sport.  Update any contact info as necessary, click Continue. Then click Submit.

A pop up box appears where USA Boxing has already been selected. You must enter your USA Boxing Member Number/Member ID.  Please make sure you enter this carefully and correctly; don’t guess and don’t leave it blank.  Click Save.
Another box will pop up that will have your name, email address, date of birth, and location.  If the information shown is correct, click the box next to "I certify..."  Click Save.
The next screen will show (1) Account.  On this screen you will create a password. Then click Next.
On the next screen, (2) Profile, select your primary position, then click Save.
At this point, SafeSport will send you an email.  You must access the email they just sent you and CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. Follow the instructions in the email – and you will be sent to the Sign In screen again.  Sign in with the user name and password that you just created.
It will take you to a page that shows your name at the top and shows three different courses. It does not matter which of the 3 courses you start with; but all 3 must be completed.

  • Sexual Misconduct Awareness Education
  • Mandatory Reporting
  • Emotional and Physical Misconduct

Just as before, you may stop at any time and go back to it, picking up where you left off.  The website will keep track of how much of each course you’ve completed, as well as which ones you’ve finished and which ones you still have to take.  You must take all three before you will be given credit for completing Safe Sport.

USA Boxing will be happy to help you as much as we can with this process, but for technical issues with the website, please send an email to  Please note that it can take up to 72 hours before your Safe Sport certification is updated in your USA Boxing profile.
