First high performance training camp of 2023 begins today

The first elite high performance training camp of the year begins today at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. The camp will consist of 27 boxers from across the country vying for a spot on the 2023 USA Boxing High Performance Team for the opportunity to compete internationally throughout the year. A full camp roster can be seen below.

USA Boxing Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) is leading the training camp, along with National Resident Coach Timothy Nolan (Rochester, N.Y.), National Developmental Coach Chad Wigle (Colorado Springs, Colo.), as well as Lee Gladden Jr. (Gainesville, Fla.), Christine Lopez (Rowlett, Texas) and Richard Stephenson (Middletown, N.Y.). 

Training camp will run until Feb. 16, with the second half of the training camp will also serve as a multination camp with boxers from Canada and Great Britain.
