Gilbert Garza is standing in a boxing ring, barking commands into a megaphone as boxers — all evenly spaced at least 6 feet apart and wearing face masks — fire punches into the hot afternoon air.

Nearby, USA Boxing’s “Return to Training” guidelines are posted in plain view for all to see, including one urging gym members to bring their own equipment.
