Members of USA Boxing’s elite high performance team returned to Colorado Springs, Colo. over the weekend for their first training camp since March, when they were preparing for the now postponed Continental Olympic Qualifier. The training camp will take place at the Hotel Eleganté June 7-July 1, 2020. A full camp roster can be seen below.

The main focus of the training camp is to begin general preparation for the second half of the year as the team continues to develop and prepare for the Olympic Qualification Events set to take place in 2021. With the health and safety of the boxers and staff at the forefront of USA Boxing’s priorities, all sessions will be divided into smaller groups during the daily training sessions, and the team members will continue to practice social distancing and other safety measures while participating in camp.

Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will lead the training camp, alongside Joe Guzman (Buckeye, Ariz.) and Jeff Mays (San Antonio, Texas), as well as National Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jose Polanco (Colorado Springs, Colo.).
