Brown Wins International Debut at 2019 World Championships

2018 USA Boxing Elite Light Welterweight National Champion Ravven Brown (San Antonio, Texas) competed in her first international tournament this morning at the 2019 Elite Women’s World Championships in Ulan Ude, Russia.

Brown took all five judges’ cards over Paola Calderon Munoz of Colombia to advance to the next round of competition on Oct. 10.

Breeanna Locquiao’s (Mililani, Hawaii) first World Championships run ended today following a 4-1 split decision loss to Russian Ekaterina Paltceva.

2018 World Championships bronze medalists Naomi Graham (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will begin her journey to her second world medal tomorrow against Atheyna Bylon of Panama.
