Junior High Performance Team Departs for Hungary Tomorrow for 2019 Bornemissza Tournament

The 12 member junior boys high performance squad departs tomorrow from the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. for Eger, Hungary, the host city of the 2019 Bornemissza Tournament. A full team roster can be seen below.

National Junior and Youth Coach Augie Sanchez (Las Vegas, Nev.) will serve as the team’s head coach, with Edward Ochoa Jr. (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Pete Rojas Jr. (Grand Prairie, Texas) assisting him. Team USA will also send Dr. Kevin Lee (Dallas, Texas), Team Manager Derrick Raedel (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and referee and judge David Zawacki (Santa Monica, Calif.) to the tournament.


This will be all 12 boxers on Team USA’s international debut for USA Boxing. More information, including tournament draw, live stream information, etc. will be announced closer to the start of the tournament.
