Elite High Performance Training Camp In Ireland Underway

13 members of Team USA’s elite high performance training camp departed for Belfast, Ireland on June 1 for an 11 day training camp. A full camp roster can be seen below.

Under the guidance of USA Boxing Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.), National Assistant Coach Kay Koroma (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Christine Lopez (Rowlett, Texas), Team USA will train alongside numerous countries, including India, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands and Romania.

The training camp is being used for preparation for a busy second half of 2019, with the 2019 Pan American Games taking place in July, as well as the Elite Men’s World Championships in September and the Elite Women's World Championships in October.
