Team USA picked up six more victories on the fifth day of the 2019 Pan American Games Qualifier, as well as earned their first medal, a bronze from Naomi Graham (Colorado Springs, Colo.) in Managua, Nicaragua.

Rashida Ellis (Lynn, Mass.) and Virginia Fuchs (Houston, Texas) picked up unanimous decision victories over their opponents to advance to Wednesday’s championship bouts in their weight classes.

Four men earned victories in their quarterfinal bouts to move onto the medal rounds, as well as guarantee their spot at the 2019 Pan American Games this summer in Lima, Peru. Keyshawn Davis (Norfolk, Va.), Duke Ragan (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Richard Torrez Jr. (Tulare, Calif.) all took unanimous decision victories, while teammate Troy Isley (Alexandra, Va.) picked up a 3-2 win over the home country to advance.

All four will box in today’s semifinal bouts along with Delante Johnson (Cleveland, Ohio) and Oshae Jones (Toledo, Ohio). Follow boxing action by clicking here.
