Elite Women's High Performance Training Camp Underway

The latest high performance training camp began yesterday at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. for 15 members of Team USA’s elite women’s high performance squad until September 21.

Over the next few weeks the boxers will partake in numerous training sessions a day, including cardio, strength and conditioning, as well as multiple sparring sessions, as preparation for the 10 women that will represent Team USA at the Boxam Tournament later this month in Spain, as well as the 2018 Elite Women’s World Championships in Delhi, India this November. A full camp roster can be seen below.

Leading the camp will be USA Boxing Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and National Assistant Coach Kay Koroma (Colorado Springs, Colo.), while Joe Guzman (Fountain, Colo.) and Jeff Mays (San Antonio, Texas) will be assisting.
