Elite Men's High Performance Squad Returns to Colorado Springs for Training Camp

Fourteen members of the Elite Men’s high performance squad have returned to Colorado Springs for their next training camp, which runs until May 22 at the Olympic Training Center. A full camp roster can be found below.

The boxers will be preparing for two different upcoming international competitions taking place in Kazakhstan and Germany in June. To help with their preparation, they will take part in multiple training sessions a day, including cardio, strength and conditioning, sparring and video analysis, as well as nutrition classes.

USA Boxing Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and National Assistant Coach Kay Koroma (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will lead the training camp. Team USA has brought in an additional four coaches to help with training, including Marc Gargaro (Newton, Mass.), Joe Guzman (Fountain, Colo.) Darrie Riley (Toledo, Ohio) and Freudis Rojas (Las Vegas, Nev.). National Team Strength and Conditioning Coach Jose Polanco (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will lead the strength and conditioning sessions. USA Boxing National Team Manager Jess Luscinski (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will serve as Team Manage for the camp.
