Female Champions Crowned on Third Day of 2018 National Junior Championships

The third day of the 2018 National Junior Olympics, Prep Nationals and Junior Open crowned 25 champions, as well as four pee-wee 8 male champions, at the Charleston Civic Center in downtown Charleston, W.Va.


The noon session saw the young age divisions of the female boxers in the tournament fight it out in their championship bouts, while the evening session crowned the new National Junior Olympic Champions, as well as the female Youth Open champions. Both session saw numerous high intensity and action packed bouts to close our their time in this years tournament.


Both sessions saw the field of male boxers get closer to their championship bouts, as they will step into the ring tomorrow for the semifinals.


At the end of the night, the three Outstanding Female Boxers of the Tournament were announced. They were bantam Ivy Enriquez of Region 8, intermediate Mariah Martinez of Region 9 and junior Arriana Carasco of Region 9.
