One week after arriving in Colorado for their first training camp of the year, Team USA welcomes  49 boxers from Great Britain, New Zealand and Poland to spend 11 days training alongside our nations’ best. The largest multi-nation camp USA Boxing has ever hosted runs January 10-21 and allows boxers and coaches the opportunity to join forces and work alongside one another to prepare for upcoming 2018 international competitions.

The boxers will have the opportunity to experience life as a member of Team USA. Head Coach Billy Walsh has set forth the schedule for the training camp, which will include multiple workouts a day that features morning runs, strength and conditioning sessions, partner work, elevation training and numerous sessions of sparring. The training camp will conclude with test matches.

The camp comes in preparation for both the United States’ men’s and women’s elite team’s upcoming international schedule. The American’s first international tournament will take place next month at the Strandja Tournament in Bulgaria, where our top-ranked elite men and women will be looking to begin 2018 on a high note. A second group of elite men and women will travel to Poland for the Feliks Stamm Memorial on March 7-17.
