Registration for both peewee and youth age divisions for the 2018 Junior Olympics, Prep Nationals and Youth Open in Charleston, W.Va. on June 24-30 is officially open. Bantam, intermediate and junior boxers must earn their spots through local and regional qualifiers.

This year’s edition, which is returning to West Virginia for a fourth time, marks the fourth year the Prep National Championships have been a part of the Junior Olympics, and the third year the Youth Open has been contested during this tournament. Pee wee and youth boxers have until June 18 to register for the tournament, but to have their name included on the event t-shirts, they must register no later than June 11. T-shirts will be sold at the event.

Those registering in these two divisions will not be allowed to change their weight after the June 18 registration deadline. You must call USA Boxing to make any weight changes.

Boxers in the peewee and youth divisions can register by clicking here. Once on that website, follow the link on the left-hand side for: USA Boxing Events - National Tournaments.

Invitations have been sent out via email to all 2017 junior division, Junior Olympic and Junior Open champions, and they will need to accept their invitations to be registered for the event. They may change the weight class that the invitation is sent for.

Once results from this year’s regional tournaments are sent into the USA Boxing National Office, invitations will be sent to those who have qualified to the tournament.
