After four intense days of boxing action at the Lake Charles Civic Center in Lake Charles, La., the two final boxers in the junior male and youth female and male divisions that will compete on Saturday for a national title was determined.

Over 500 boxers stepped into one of the four rings this week with hopes of reaching Saturday’s finale, which will determine the boxers that will be part of the 2020 Junior and Youth High Performance Teams. The boxers will have the opportunity to attend training camps at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., as well as represent Team USA in international competition.

Yesterday’s action crowned over 40 champions, including the junior women’s champions, which will be part of the High Performance team. The day also crowned all prep champions, with the remaining seven being crowned in today’s session.
