Dartmouth Tuck Business School Next Step Program | March 11-23, 2018

 

Applications for Dartmouth’s Tuck Business School Next Step Program are currently open. Program is looking to assist Team USA athletes who retired and are looking to pursue a career in business. Program runs March 11-23, 2018. For more information contact tuck.next.step@tuck.dartmouth.edu.

Applications are due October 18 for all USOC Tuition Grants (Legacy included).  DeVry is also open and will remain open for the rest of the year. In order to enroll in the July Session, athletes must apply by June 6. See the attached document page for more info or visit: http://usoc.devry.edu/.

This year, in order to be eligible you must register with the ACE program in order to apply and access the grants. How to do that (these directions are also in the applications themselves):


Visit www.TeamUSA.org/ACE and click on the “Register” button. Once registered, you can access our athlete platform and grant application.


Once on the platform, you can download the form by doing the following:

1. On the master wall, you will see a graduation cap symbol in the upper right corner, click on that

2. You will be taken to the “Education Opportunities” page. You will find the grants application there. Click on “Current Team USA Athletes”

3. Click on “Apply” to download the application. Then follow the directions on the application form.

MBA IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

PIVOT PROGRAM WORKSHOP JUNE 21-22
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO | REGISTRATION DEADLINE: JUNE 11

 
 

ACE is conducting a Pivot Workshop on June 21-22 for retiring and retired athletes looking for their next steps after retiring from their sports. Athletes have found it very useful to discuss issues (personal, work, school, etc.) and receive resources to help them make that difficult transition out of sport. 

If you are available and would like to attend, all travel and lodging accommodations will be provided. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot or learn more by emailing ace@usoc.org as soon as possible.

OLYMPIANS AND PARALYMPIANS IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (OPBDP)
APPLICATION DEADLINE: JUNE 15

 
 

The OPBDP is a paid 18-month rotational training program for 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 Olympic and Paralympic team members. Athletes will work in three six-month rotations through Visa’s functions including but not limited to: Digital Solutions, Marketing & Sponsorship, Product, and Sales. In addition to meaningful work experience, athletes are given training and development, mentoring, networking, and leadership exposure.
