Greubel Poser to serve as athlete role model for Luasanne Youth Olympic Games

Greubel Poser selected as athlete role model at 2020 Youth Olympic Games

Jamie Greubel Poser has been selected as one of two athletes to serve as an athlete role model at the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games, which will take place from January 9-22 in Switzerland. Greubel Poser was selected to serve alongside Swiss skeleton athlete Pascal Oswald. 

As an athlete role model, Greubel Poser will engage and share her experience with the athletes in the Youth Olympic Village, at the sliding venue, and during educational activities and workshops. The activities will focus on topics like Olympic Solidarity, skills development, career management, injury prevention, and integrity. 

Greubel Poser expressed her excitement about the opportunity on social media:

Greubel Poser is a two-time bobsled Olympian and earned the bronze medal with pusher Aja Evans at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. She and Evans finished fifth at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics before announcing her retirement. Greubel Poser had an impressive career, earning 27 World Cup medals, the 2017 overall World Cup title, and a World Championship bronze medal.
