USA Bobsled & Skeleton would like to congratulate bobsled coach Shauna Rohbock and former bobsledder Herschel Walker on their appointments to President Donald Trump's Council for Sport, Fitness and Nutrition. Both are set to fulfill two-year terms, and Walker will also serve as co-chair. The President named a total of 23 personnel to the council on May 4.

As an athlete, Rohbock won the silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy. She currently coaches and also serves her country as a member of the U.S. Army's World Class Athlete Program. Walker, meanwhile, pushed in the two-man event at the 1992 Winter Games in Albertville, France for current Team USA bobsled head coach Brian Shimer while also competing in the NFL.
