USAB Club Membership Renewal 2020-2021

Feb. 04, 2020, 6:45 p.m. (ET)

USA Badminton has now begun renewals for USAB Club Membership.

In order to be a Sanctioned Club, all associated club owners, club administrators, club coaches, tournament directors, technical officials, and tournament referees must comply with USA Badminton's SafeSport Policy and Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (if applicable), which requires the following:

**Please also note that there is an additional policy mandated by Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) that now requires all athletes 18 and over to complete SafeSport training in order to participate in trainings with minor athletes.

If you have any questions about the USA Badminton’s SafeSport Policy or the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies, please contact Katherine Tor at Click HERE for more information on both policies.

To renew, please click HERE to fill out your application. Filling out the application does not automatically renew your club. We encourage you to submit your application early to allow time for processing through our new system. Your application will be reviewed, requirements will be checked, and we will reach out if additional information is required before renewing and insuring your club. You will be directed to submit your payment via PayPal once your application has been approved.

If you do not renew before March 1, 2020 your club insurance will be invalid and your club will be unable to host Sanctioned Tournaments until you renew.

We look forward to your continued support, and appreciate you being a part of our team. As a reminder, the benefits to be a sanctioned club with USAB are below:

  • Host USA Badminton Sanctioned Tournaments

  • Access to Tournament Planner Software (USAB Sanctioned Events ONLY)
  • Vote for USAB Board
  • Receive USAB newsletters

Please reach out to Jamie Subandhi at if you have questions or concerns.
