YONEX Dutch Open Primer

American Beiwen Zhang attempts to repeat as the YONEX Dutch Open champion with a first round match up against Japan’s Yukino Nakai on Wednesday, October 11.

The YONEX Dutch Open is the first tournament for Zhang since the Japan Open – an event she lost to current world champion Nozomi Okuhara in the quarterfinal.

As the number one seed and prohibited favorite, Zhang leads a strong Women’s Singles that includes four top-40 players (Mette Poulson, Linda Zetchiri, Michelle Li, and Mia Blichfeldt).

The YONEX Dutch Open is the first of three consecutive (week) tournaments – DABUSA Denmark Open (World Superseries Premier) followed by the YONEX French Open – Beiwen will take on with a cumulative purse of $1.14 million.
