The Southern Conference in Orlando, FL has been rescheduled for Jan 27, 2018; other Conferences are being planned and might be realized in early 2018.  The YONEX EASTERN (formerly NE) COLLEGIATE TEAM BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIPS, having involved 40 school teams and counting, has highlighted the popularity of badminton in colleges and provided the platform for excellence for collegiate badminton clubs (e.g. 2014 Team of the Year Award for Drexel BC, 2016-17 Team Advancement Award to BU Badminton Club President Yihao Hu).

The Spring Championships Playoff.  Based on the results of the Fall/Winter Conferences, Teams will be divided into Divisions 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B, and possibly a Division 3 for the Championship Playoff. The 4-5 (sub) Divisions during the Spring will bring together teams of around the same level, thereby resulting in more exciting, nail-biting collegiate team matches.
