Video: Kento Momota vs. Phillips Jap from YONEX/K&D Graphics International Series

Japan's Men's Singles player, Kento Momota won his opening match of the YONEX K&D Graphics International Series over American Phillips Jap 21-11, 21-8.

It is the former No. 2 player in the world's second tournament since his year-long ban from the Japan Badminton Association.

The smooth, Momota, dominated throughout. The second game was tied at 6-6 before the former BWF No. 2 in the world scored nine straight points and 15 of 17 points to take the match.

He will face Peru's Diego Mini [6] at 2:45pm PST in the Second Round on Friday at the Orange County Badminton Club in Orange, CA.
